The Glory of the Lord

“Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.” Ezekiel 43:1-2 then in 3-4 says: “I fell face down on the ground. 4 And the glory of the Lord came into the Temple through the east gateway.”

I woke up this morning and as I was blowing drying my hair and I heard the Lord speak to me - "and the place shone with the Glory of the Lord"

"The Glory of the Lord filled the place" and they fell down in reverence to the Lord.

God is waiting to find a people hungering and thirsting after Him in dry and weary lands. He is waiting for a people who will seek HIM with all of their hearts for INDEED they shall find HIM.

As we pray today ~ may we find HIM in the sanctuary of our hearts That HE may dwell there…AND as HE dwells there, through our prayers and our laboring we shall be carriers of the Glory of the Lord. Let us find that place where our hearts are tendered towards the things of our Father. Where we find that place of love ... the place we feel peace and acceptance from the Father... that ALL IS WELL.

Today as we pray for the Presence of the Lord that HIS habitation would cover and fill our hearts, our husbands our children our families our churches and Pastors and friends... let us be reminded that HE is working out ALL the details. That we must remain faithful in seeking HIS presence and filling our hearts with HIS glory.

Love and blessings to you today

Clothes For Africa - Pantys for Little People

I guess you could say that one of the great joys of working with Cross Connection Outreach and the Talking Bible project is the array of things we do to touch God's people.

We had the awesome and yet exhausting privledge of going to LA to the Fashion Distrist and purchase over 300 sets of clothing for the children of Mozambique. Running from store to store praying and asking God for favor that the prices would be in our budget or even lower was faith. Then the thrill of seeing Gods work made our hearts beat with great excitement and then when HE shows us exactly where we need to be, its like finding a diamond in the rough.
Now I know that 300 outfits may sound like alot of clothes and yes my friends they were heavy, however 300 outfits would only clothe one and half villages, I was SUPER shocked when Crystal who is one of the founders of CCO told me this! Picking out darling pink and blue and green dresses for the girls melted my heart knowing that a little girl would recieve perhaps the first new dress of her little life! Then on to the boys up to size 14/16! How amazing it is to give a new set of clothes to a young man... his first sports shirt and a pair of shorts or pants and see the happiness in their eyes! How do YOU or I feel when we are sporting something NEW?
We also looked for the best deal on panty's for the children. Panty's for Africa is something that was such a need, CCO saw the need and have added that to the array of things they do for the children.. more on that story later.
Our ultimate goal is to get the Gospel into the hands of the Illiterate and we are doing that with the Talking Bible Project, people are hearing the word and getting saved and that is the passion behind the things we are doing with CCO.
Well, as you can see our hearts our moved for the things that move HIS heart. I am so blessed and honored to be part of this work. I would never have known the wonderful things that the Lord had for me... if I did not allow myself to freefall into HIS calling for the next steps of my journey.
"Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not on your OWN understanding; in ALL your ways acknowledge HIM and HE will make your path straight" Proverbs 3:5-6

The Journey Continues

God is doing amazing things! Thanks to all of you who have begun to support us on this new journey that God has called us to. We are at 20% giving now and we are expecting God to meet all our needs. When God guides, God provides!

Great things are happening here at Cross Connection Outreach and I am so blessed to be part of something that is so big and so out of my control.
We are preparing teams for Mozambique to be sent out over the summer, they will be carrying the precious cargo, The Talking Bibles! We are excited for the teams that are going and look forward to awesome reports as to what the Lord will do through each of them.
I will be a team leader in 2011 going back to Africa joining the team on that side getting the Talking Bibles into the villages.

CCO is working on another recording and this Talking Bible is really a fire that is catching on in the Nations and people who would never have a chance at salvation are being saved. I continue to make connections with different churches and organizations and doing fundraising for CCO and will work the field over the summer while some of the team is back in Africa.

I would love to come and share the vision with your church or youth group or small group or homeschooling group! There is alot of work to do for the Kingdom and we each have a part to do! The journey continues... lets link shields and get this thing done! Much love Pastor Gayelee

Africa- Missionary Pastor - Need your Help!

Dear Friends and Family
We are living in EXCITING times and the fields are ripe almost white for harvest.
I am writing this blog to ask you for help. As some of you may know, I have been the Youth Pastor in Carlsbad for 10 years and have just resigned my my position. Billy and I began to feel the Lord leading us towards missions.

We now have the opportunity to come alongside Cross Connection Outreach. CCO has expanded and is now taking the Talking Bibles to five new countries! This has created a need for more administrative help, organizations of teams, fundraising and awareness. CCO does not allocate funds from donor's for administration. As a growing organization, there is enormous need for a stateside missionary, to which I feel called. My experience as a Pastor has equipped me for all the tasks at hand and the timing seems perfect.

How can you help? Glad you asked! AS a Missionary Pastor I will need to raise my own monthly support. I am asking that each of would consider supporting me on a monthly basis for the next 24 months at $25-50. We are excited about this new opportunity. It's not just and opportunity for our family, but it is and opportunity for you as a friend of God to spread the Gospel to the Illiterate people. Can you imagine how your life might be if you could not read?

My goal and passion is for lost souls. I pray that you would read this and respond. We have work to do for the Lord is coming back soon. Wont you please help.

Going about my Father's Business,
Pastor Gayelee Reynolds

The rainbow

When the Rainbow Finds You

The other day, I left work feeling kind of off. You know that feeling—when something just isn’t quite right? I wasn’t feeling well, and to make matters worse, it had been raining really hard.

As I stepped outside, I looked up into the gray sky and noticed the sun trying to push its way through the clouds, casting light on the coast. That little moment gave me a nudge.

I thought to myself, “Self, let’s go see if there’s a rainbow.”

So, I did something out of the ordinary. I took a different route—a shortcut down an alley—hoping it would get me closer to the ocean faster. The rain was soft now, like a gentle mist, and my heart was honestly a little excited. I just had a feeling... maybe I’d see something beautiful.

And then—
CRUNCH.
DRAG.
Screech.

My heart sank.
My little car—my darling Vibe—came to a halting stop.

I had been hit. A man coming out of a parking lot hadn’t seen me.
My brand new car.
Damaged.

We got out. The rain had stopped, the wind picked up, and there was a crisp, bitter chill in the air—like nature itself was holding its breath.

We exchanged information.
And then he said the words no one wants to hear:
“My insurance has expired.”

Seriously, God?

I turned around, overwhelmed by frustration... and there it was.

A rainbow.
Stretching from one side of the sky to the other.
Vivid. Bold. Beautiful. Undeniable.

And I knew in that moment—it was for me.

The very thing I went searching for had found me.

There was peace. A calm I couldn’t explain. The kind that doesn't come from logic, but from knowing that God sees you. I think I even saw two rainbows layered over each other—double the promise.

That’s the thing about God.

Just when we think we’ve been forgotten...
Just when frustration is louder than faith...
Just when life sideswipes us unexpectedly...

He reminds us:
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
And sometimes, He sends a rainbow to say it.

So if your day takes a detour, don’t miss the beauty that might be waiting just behind it.
Sometimes the very thing your heart is looking for... is already looking for you.

Love you,

Gayelee Reynolds

Fight The Good Fight

There is a war ... a spiritual battle that is taking place, and we who call ourselves Christians need to be aware, alert and armed.
The word of the Lord came to me and it was only one word "atmosphere"
There has been a shift in the atmosphere and those who dont keep their ear to the ground and bend their knees in prayer, may get devoured by this change. .

We are praying for breakthroughs but how many our willing to do what it takes to get that breakthrough..

He sent fire from heaven to the earth, not to burn it up... but to give us power. The fire of God and its power is no match for this battle that is upon so many.
Let us lift our eyes towards heaven and bend our knees in prayer
Humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord and He WILL lift us up.

Mighty move of God

Today God moved. I hadnt really done anything special. I was talking to a good friend, and we began to pray. I put a worship song in the background, and sensed a holy hush in my heart.
I began to talk with God in a way I had many times, but this time it seemed as though His breath was on my face. It seemed like His hand was on my shoulder. It seemed as though He had been waiting so long just to be with me.

Today God moved and I didnt have to go to a foreign land, I didnt have to be around alot of people. I didnt have to be caught up in the emotional moment.
I simply cried to God....

And He moved.
