UNLOCKED: Freedom Starts Here

Unlocked: The Journey to Healing and Transformation

Unlocked means to open up. Healing and transformation don’t happen by accident; they require a conscious choice to open your heart and mind, allowing healing to begin. Unlocked to heal. Unlocked to trust again. Unlocked to love. You name your unlocked.

For so long, I lived with a heart infection—wounded and broken. Instead of facing the pain, I retreated, shutting the door and locking my heart away. Perhaps you’ve done the same. Life’s disappointments, betrayals, or fears can make us feel vulnerable, prompting us to protect what feels too fragile to expose.

But here’s the truth: healing doesn’t happen behind locked doors.

It wasn’t until I leaned into my relationship with the Lord that I realized He wasn’t waiting for me to fix myself. He was simply waiting for me to open the door.

Love Unlocks. Truth Unlocks. Surrender Unlocks.

For so long, I clung to past hurts, unsure if healing was even possible. In doing so, I unknowingly locked away my dreams, desires, and even parts of my identity. But God, in His kindness, never forces open what we keep shut; He simply invites us to take a step forward.

He whispers, “Let me in.”
He gently assures us, “You’re not meant to carry this alone.”

And when we say yes—when we begin to trust the One who holds the key—something shifts within us.

It's funny how often people say, "Don’t live in the past; it is what it is." But is it really? The past shapes us in ways we often don’t recognize. It influences our choices, our relationships, and even how we see ourselves. While the past may be unchangeable, it doesn’t have to define our present or dictate our future.

Instead of dismissing our experiences, what if we took the time to acknowledge and process them? What if we viewed the past not as a place to linger, but as a foundation for growth? Embracing our history can lead to profound healing and transformation, allowing us to unlock the fullness of who we are meant to be.

The Invitation to Healing

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." — Ezekiel 36:26

The Lord will give you a new heart and put His Spirit in you. When He puts His Spirit in you, everything changes. I didn’t walk this journey alone; I desired freedom more than anything. What I’ve learned, I share with you, knowing that there is so much more to come. I don’t have all the answers—He does. What I can tell you is to trust the process, from someone who has gone before you. I’ve climbed that mountain of impossibility and conquered my Goliath; now, I return to guide others on their path to freedom.

My 30-day journal, Unlocked: A Journey to a Healed Heart, is coming soon! It’s not just a place to write—it’s an invitation to explore your innermost thoughts. A space where you can be honest, process your feelings, andGod will give you a new heart—He wants to restore what was lost. He may not restore every relationship, but through this journey, you will come to know yourself. Only then can you truly "love your neighbor as yourself."

I can’t wait to share it with you!

Listen for the whisper

The Gentle Whisper of God

Today, I want to take a moment to reflect on the greatness of our God and the transformative power of prayer. As we come before Him, we can trust that He goes before us, lighting the path we should walk.

In the busyness of life, it’s easy to overlook the comfort we find under the shadow of His wings. This sacred space is where we can truly rest and rejuvenate. When we quiet ourselves, we can listen for His gentle whisper, which often speaks in the stillness of our hearts.

Finding Comfort in the Quiet

I’m reminded of the powerful passage in 1 Kings 19:11-13, where the Lord instructs Elijah to stand on the mountain:

“The LORD said, ‘Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by.’ Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.”

In this scripture, we see that God is often not found in the loud and chaotic events of our lives. Instead, He meets us in the gentle whisper, inviting us to listen and draw closer to Him. It’s in these quiet moments that we can truly experience His presence and guidance.

Anticipating a Mighty Move of God

As we prepare for a mighty move of God in our lives, let us remember that it’s not in the earthquakes or the fires that we will find Him, but in the quiet moments of prayer. Our God is listening for our voices as we seek Him earnestly.

Let us rise confidently, knowing God will meet us here in prayer. The battles are won in these sacred spaces where we surrender our struggles and give Him the glory.

A Prayer of Expectation

So today, I humbly bow before the Lord, thanking Him in advance for His mighty move in our hearts and for the visions He is bringing to fruition.

Amen.

As you go about your day, I encourage you to find those quiet moments to listen for His gentle whisper. Trust that He is with you, guiding your steps and fulfilling His promises in your life. Embrace the journey of seeking Him, knowing that freedom and transformation await in the stillness.
